Alternate Stories is a universe of different comics for different MARVEL characters. The first comic to begin will be Alternate Stories: Spider-Man, featuring a completely re-vamped account of Spider-Man's life, but not as twisted as the fantastic works of Ultimate Spider-Man. Things are developed, moved elsewhere, completely re-imagined and so on. Writing the comics has been going on for a long time, but there are still two missing details to the success of this comic.
The Legend of the Artist... and the Colourist..
Is colourist even a word? I don't know... anyway, I am in desperate need of an artist who will meet these requirements.
- They know the standards of art and are experienced, preferably with a degree, but if they're amazing and unqualified, they're in!
- They understand the realms of the MARVEL universe, or at least clued-up enough on Spider-Man's friends, foes and stories.
- They can be from ANYWHERE in the world and aged 15-25 (exceptions can definitely be made).
- They listen and work with effort, not too quiet or uncommitted.
- They have great talent and can show great comic art with Spider-Man and his enemies (so nothing too amateur, this has to be real-comic standard at best, see Erik Larsen or John Byrne for example, they show more basic works of art but they are brilliant and you can work from their standards).
- They're nice to be around! :)
And the colourist:
- Generally all the requirements for the artist, but they need to have access to their own professional colouring equipment (they can't just turn up without their stuff, unless they're impeccable and can be found some stuff to use).
- The colourist is a secondary find, but they are needed for the completion of the comic, a really good job must be done to give off the standards of our heroes and villains!
Any Hints?
Aha, you'll have to wait. This is all I'm saying:
- Doesn't start with origin, but the origin is told in it's own issue with some exciting scenes to read.
- From no arm to a scaly arm.
- Avengers and Magneto meet Doc Ock. Nuff said, but you won't be saying these events for a long time.
